Please see this link for a great walks from the Huts Upon a Hill

Cycling -The start of the track which leads to the Twin Tunnels Bath is 1.3 miles away from the Huts Upon a Hill -

  • This new walking and cycling path has transformed a four mile stretch of disused railway line into an exciting new walking and cycling path running through Linear Park on the south side of Bath to the disused Devonshire tunnel (at Bloomfield), onto Combe Down tunnel, and then over the renovated Tucking Mill viaduct.

  • The route includes two brand new bridges and two enormous tunnels. At over one mile long, the Combe Down tunnel will be the longest cycling tunnel in Britain, and will feature an interactive light and sound installation.

  •

  • The route links into the National Cycle Network with routes to Radstock and Bournemouth in the south, and the Bristol to Bath walking and cycling route in the west.

  • It also creates a scenic 13 mile loop between Bath and Midford, and back again via the canal towpath.

Horse Riding if you wish to bring your horse when staying at Huts Upon a Hill, we have stables for livery for up to 2 horses – There are amazing routes for riding from the huts which has plenty of bridle pathes and open fields to soak up the somerset countryside whilst riding.
